Music Talks

Reading music and singing are skills that everyone can learn, develop, and share at St. John’s. Whether you’re with the choir in the front, sing softly from the back pew, or if you have no musical background but want to learn, join Choir Director Thomas Alaan every-other weekend to explore how you can become a better singer and a better reader. We’ll explore the written music notation, how to read rhythms and notes, learn how your voice works and to sing with more confidence, and we’ll use our hymnals — how practical! RSVP to Thomas is requested but not required. Just come!
