Thomas Alaan

Thomas Aláan (Lipsmeyer) comes to SJB from Holy Name Cathedral, Chicago (2009-2024) where he was Associate Director of Choirs and Director of Women’s Schola. He is an active singer, voice teacher, personal trainer, gamer, and cat-enthusiast. He has a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Master of Arts in Vocal Pedagogy from Texas Woman’s University, and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Alderson-Broaddus University.
