Acts in Easter: A Virtual Bible Study with Rev. Kate

April 19/20 – May 31/June 1, 7 sessions

TWO Time Offerings: Sundays from 9:00-10:00 a.m. & Mondays from 11:30 a.m.- !2:30 p.m.

The church looks drastically different today than it did a couple months ago. Things are uncertain and changing all the time. So, why do we read Acts now? The Acts of the Apostles is about how the church became the church during an unprecedented and unpredictable time. It is also about how the Holy Spirit becomes real for a group of scared and anxious disciples.

Using a curriculum developed by Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, TX, the Acts in Easter Reading Plan begins on the Second Sunday of Easter and lasts for seven weeks. During this time, there are two weekly opportunities to participate in a virtual Bible Study on Zoom facilitated by Rev. Kate.

All you need to participate is a Bible, and a computer or telephone.

Sign up for the class using this form to receive weekly reminders of the readings and the zoom log in information.
