Want Something to Read While We Take a Break From The Path?

By Katie Bucy

Between November 25 and December 31, you won’t have any homework from The Path. Sure, you have the holidays to keep you busy. But you won’t be busy every second now, will you?

If you want to read about a personal faith journey that unpacks the Bible through storytelling, solid theology, and humor, I highly recommend Rachel Held Evans’ book, Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again.

My small group just read this book and here’s what people had to say: “It’s accessible, lively, fun, relevant, and authentic.” Rachel died tragically earlier this year, before her 38th birthday. She’s written several books, and this is her last one, published in 2018. It’s an excellent one. I hope you’ll take a look.
