During the church’s 2018 General Convention, Episcopalians made important promises to care for the world God loved so much. One of the ways to keep this promise is to reduce the impact we make.

The Carbon Tracker (sustainislandhome.org) is a web-based application created by the Diocese of California to measure your carbon footprint and take steps to shrink it to fit a sustainable life.

SJB is participating in this effort. Join the SJB team and help to reduce your environmental impact. Go to sustainislandhome.org and sign up. It only takes about 15 minutes, and can make a huge difference. In the US, 40% of greenhouse gas emissions are choices made by individual households.  How we power our homes, use transportation, nourish our bodies and deal with our waste, can all be part of a powerful climate solution.
